โ€œWeโ€™re playing whack-a-moleโ€ with public bodies that adopt their own versions of the Governmentโ€™s Islamic blasphemy code. Since the Government rolled out its Islamophobia definition, rebranded as โ€œanti-Muslim hostilityโ€, numerous public bodies have adopted their own versions โ€” often even worse than the original. South Wales Police adopted its own โ€œanti-Muslim hostilityโ€ definition โ€” despite the Governmentโ€™s definition applying only in England โ€” and instructed officers to record โ€œillegitimateโ€ criticism of Islam as non-crime hate incidents (NCHIs). After a legal challenge from the Free Speech Union, South Wales Police withdrew its guidance. Every public body that adopts a version of it should expect a challenge from the FSU. Officers receive no training on freedom of speech, but do receive plenty of diversity training. If they donโ€™t record your criticism of Islam as an NCHI, they may simply charge you with a communications offence, as they have done to Kellie-Jay Keen (@ThePosieParker). The FSU is proud to be defending her. Join our fight to stop an Islamic blasphemy law being introduced by the back door. Your donation helps us defend members such as Kellie-Jay Keen, former police officer Stephen Gray and many others who have been charged, or even convicted, for criticising Islam. How good was Kemi Badenoch on Camilla Tominey, especially on the Rupert Lowe/ Nigel Farage questionโ€ฆ.. Camilla tried to goad her on Ruperts followers being racistsโ€ฆ. She put her firmly in her place, Rupert turns up and does the workโ€ฆโ€ฆ and we all know Farage doesnโ€™t. ๐Ÿ™„

I was a Managing Director of a small business from 2002 to 2009 I employed 12 people, I took risks they paid off, I had paid my mortgage off by the time I was 32 but it was the hardest work I've ever done. These people from Labour who know nothing of business or the real world sicken me, their ignorance is ruining our Britain. @EmmaforWycombe #EmmaReynolds #Labour

Itโ€™s got nothing to do with greed, if you had a clue how to run a business or even the most basic understanding of economics/finance youโ€™d get it.

Slavery was an evil in which people from every continent and region participated. We should be honest about the whole history, not select the parts that are politically convenient today, especially given Britain's leading role in ending the transatlantic slave trade. If Caribbean countries are asking Britain for a formal apology for Britainโ€™s role in the transatlantic slave trade, will they also be asking the same of the descendants of African kingdoms, rulers and merchants who captured, sold and profited from the trade? On demands for reparations, whether through cash or debt relief, we have been down this track before. Twenty-five years ago, Jubilee 2000, Drop the Debt and Make Poverty History argued that cancelling the debts of poorer countries would give them a fresh start. More than $100 billion of debt was eventually written off, but many of those countries have since built up even bigger debts. Labour are already spending too much on Britain's welfare state, now is not the time for Andy Burnham to be providing global welfare. There is no reason British taxpayers today should be held financially responsible for things that happened generations before any of us were born. And I have even less patience for political elites in commonwealth countries who donโ€™t know how to make their own citizens prosperous now looking for another opportunity to blame Britain. As Prime Minister, Andy Burnham should be Britainโ€™s greatest defender. Instead, he is writing articles saying we need to confront our history (as if we haven't done enough of that) and considering another formal historical apology. Tony Blair already expressed Britainโ€™s deep sorrow and regret for our role in the slave trade nearly twenty years ago. There is no need to do so again. This is all another navel-gazing distraction. The Commonwealth should be looking forward, not endlessly backwards. That means economic partnerships to make us all richer and deeper military and security cooperation against common threats. If every Commonwealth summit becomes an exercise in presenting Britain with demands for cash then we need to start asking if it is worth the effort.

Time for the right wing to Face Facts. There has been no groundbreaking sweeping movement resigning the Tories to the history books as weโ€™d been led to believe would happen. Reform is heading downhill fast. They are now a 5min wonder. Theyโ€™ve still only got 8 MPs and have failed to win 5 by-elections. If they canโ€™t get into double figures in 2 years, thereโ€™s no chance of getting 350+ in the next two. Rupert Lowe, with only 1 MP with only 2 years left is never going to win a General Election. Finding another 350+ MPs in that time would be an absolute miracle. We are now playing the end game: to save our country. For our parents & grandparents who fought for this country,m and for our children and grandchildren who will inherit this country, we must stand united behind the only party who has the MPs, the electable Leader and the infrastructure to actually win a GE. Soundbites about deporting everyone are completely meaningless if you canโ€™t get into government. We have only one chance to get a right wing government back into power. We have seen numerous examples of Left countries fixing elections. We cannot risk that here. Whether you agree with them or not, the only people who can get a right wing government back in are the Conservatives. Itโ€™s as much about logistical chances now as policies and leadership skills - the Conservatives are the only party who fit all the criteria. If we donโ€™t, our children and grandchildren will never forgive us. And our forefathers will have fought for nothing. Letโ€™s not throw it all away on a whim.
