Is DD from vascular dysfunction & intrinsic abnormal myocardial function from hypertrophy & fibrosis (HFpEF)? Some pts w just minor AMI develop RFP

Multicenter, Prospective, RCT of hsTrop-I–Guided Combination #ARB and #BetaBlocker Therapy to Prevent #Anthracycline Cardiotoxicity: The Cardiac CARE Trial
📍 From Oct 2017-June 2021 on 175 patients (avg age 53, 87% female, 71% with breast cancer)
📍 No significant difference in 6-month #LVEF between cardioprotection (#Candesartan and #Carvedilol) & standard care post-chemotherapy (difference: -0.37%, P=0.82).
📍Low-risk patients had a small drop in heart function, not within the equivalence range 🤔
