Yesterday at IRONMANUK, and after four years of dreaming, I can’t believe I have managed to qualify for the IRONMAN World Championships in Hawaii this year, with a second place in my Age Group! Absolutely buzzing 😊 #konabound

Arsenal players going into tonight's game must be how Kane and his colleagues feel going into one of their league games. #Farmersleague

Given the recent accusations of cheating aimed at a certain Premier League club, I'm surprised that this story from 2019 has gone under the radar👇

109 clubs struggling financially. City and Newcastle fans have identified the solution:
Remove the rules designed to prevent financial collapse. Genius.
We need all 116 clubs relying on their owners.
🚨💣A report from England’s Independent Football Regulator (IFR), shared by L’Équipe, has highlighted serious financial concerns across the country’s top five divisions. 👇
📊 The reported figures are worrying:
🔻 94% of 116 clubs are operating at a deficit — around 109 clubs.
💸 Total debt is projected to reach €6 billion next season.
⏳ 73 clubs could reportedly survive for no more than 90 days without financial support from their owners.
⚠️ Nearly two-thirds of lower-division clubs and around 20% of Premier League clubs are reportedly technically insolvent.
😳 These figures raise major questions about the financial sustainability of English football, particularly for clubs heavily reliant on owner funding.

9 sponsors totalling 43% of Man City’s sponsorship income (not 43% of the sponsors) Show me any other club on earth that has those ties with their sponsors?

What I witnessed yesterday made me seriously consider walking away from the club and the game I have loved for most of my life.
Many, many supporters across the country will feel exactly the same as this farce continues.
The @premierleague stands on the precipice. It must stop pretending this is just another day at the office and take urgent action now before it loses all credibility and the game we love is damaged beyond any hope of repair.
How long is the stench of the “sham” going to corrode the meaning, worth, and very essence of the Premier League?
Listening to commentary about Manchester City’s players matching the defiance of their ownership and triumphing in adversity.
Listening to fans chorusing the names of the men running the club, wearing masks or displaying banners of their faces and jibing: “We’re Man City, we’ll cheat when we want.”
Victory being framed as “a lovely moment,” a show of togetherness as though some grave injustice has been imposed on City, rather than their hierarchy being found by an independent commission to have orchestrated financial doping on an industrial scale.
Their opponents and the rest of us wondering if any of this actually matters now and how much of it ever did?
There can be no business as usual pretence. We need a full stop to the absurdity.

Makes perfect sense why City fans brought bananas. they are plastic, bent and inflated.
Liverpool have well and truly shat the bed, for the very game virtually every fan in the country was behind them
Why are City treating the appeal like a second leg? Why are journalists now going with this line?
It’s ridiculous. They are guilty. Until they manage to bring something new which matters they are guilty.
They are cheats. Call it what it is. Had 6 years to prove otherwise.

🚨JUST IN: Manchester City chairman, Khaldoon Al Mubarak, when he took over in 2008…
“There is almost a personification of the club with the values we hold as Abu Dhabi. These are loyalty, commitment, discipline, long-term thinking, respect, appreciation of history…
We are acknowledging that how we are handling this project is telling a lot to the world about how we are.”

Imagine wanting the premier league to end forever because your nose is so far up your owners arse that you can’t see what the rest of the world can see.

Let’s be honest, does anyone actually think City stopped cheating in 2018?
I’m not sure they did it for 9 years and were then just like “yep that’s enough cheating and overachieving for us, we’ll play fair now”
My arse. Get them gone.

They’ve successfully sportswashed an entire fan base — millions of people. I’m absolutely baffled that they can’t see it themselves. This is what we warned about.
