And, the top 3 southern Wake early voting sites where the vast majority of HD37 voters are voting has had GOP volunteers handing out literature every single day all day since early voting started.
Definitely was not a problem in northern Wake County.

Definitely was not a problem in northern Wake County.
Went out to vote early today in a politically diverse area of southern Wake County. Democratic volunteers were everywhere, but the Republicans didn’t even have a person handing out literature, let alone the usual GOP tent. First time I’ve ever seen that in 22 years. #ncpol

You deserve better than spending hours stuck at the DMV. NC House Republicans shortened average wait times from hours to minutes. @mikefor35 and @ErinforNC are cutting them even further by bringing new DMV offices to Wake County. That’s how we’re working for you.

Was very happy to vote today and to talk to @mikefor35 . I want to encourage people who live in our district to vote for Rep Mike Schietzelt. He ran last time on raising starting teacher pay & delivered. He is working to help get a hospital by addressing certificate of need laws.

NC Gov. Josh Stein suggested Republican legislators only voted to pause the state’s gas tax because they’re concerned about the midterm elections. Then Stein traveled to western North Carolina and signed the bill at the farm of a Democratic congressional candidate.

Proponents of the WakeMed/Atrium merger are missing this point. A major goal of the merger is to raise reimbursement rates. *Someone* will pay for that. If it isn't the patient, then it's you—in the form of higher taxes (for Medicaid and State Health Plan) AND higher premiums.
Everyone loves a lower copay, but that’s only a tiny part of the bill. Atrium’s high rates are billed to NC taxpayers and pull budget $ from public education, public safety, etc. Higher bills to the state lead to higher premiums, reduced benefits for state employees. #ncga #ncpol

A state Representative first and foremost must REPRESENT, and that’s not a partisan issue. I had the honor of speaking with @mikefor35 about his upbringing, his goals in the General Assembly and where the state is headed next. The full interview will be published this weekend - this is a sneak peek. #ncpol

Some of my co-panelists pushed back on this assertion that the agencies themselves chose the broadest type of agreement. But as you can see from both news reports and ICE's description of the options, it's true.
As NC law enforcement signs on to cooperate with ICE on some immigration actions, critics point to ICE's headline grabbing actions in places like Minnesota. I asked Rep. @mikefor35 about it & he explains how NC law enforcement has flexibility in this clip from State Lines. #ncpol

Had a great time yesterday at the picnic for peacemakers where we did the check presentation for the funding they received in this year’s state budget. Thanks to representative Mike Schietzelt and his wife for joining us at this event, and another thank you to peacemakers of Rocky Mount for their dedication to our community and investment in our children’s success! #ncpol #ncga

An "outpouring of support" for a candidate who calls for the systematic mass murder of half of America is probably not a sign of a healthy democracy.
“I had originally decided that I would recuse the seat if elected, but I’ve had just an outpouring of support,” Shelly Headen told Carolina Public Press. “And I’ve worked so hard. So, I feel like North Carolina needs me.” #ncpol xitter.cf/NCHouseGOP/status/2104…

Also, North Carolina doesn't need any one person in office. There are more than eleven million North Carolinians. Every single elected official is replaceable. "North Carolina needs me" is narcissistic cringe.
