14. Just like the way we leave our shoes outside the temple, we should leave faith/hope outside our sanctum sanctorum (trading room) 15. Faith hope and prayer should be reserved for God. Markets are false and fickle idols 😊 😊 Have a great trading week ahead !! 7/7

For most ppl trading doesn't turn around when they learn to control their emotions, but when they realise it can never be controlled. So they find a way to cheat their emotions and trade around it.

People who keep giving the advice "Don't buy a house, rent is best" are missing a few basic principles of human psychology YES mathematically renting works out cheaper than buying but the bigger point is not always about efficient returns Real estate has created more wealth for a larger NUMBER of people vs any other asset class simply because - holding power is larger, you are not checking the price of your house on the news channel everyday with an urge to sell Taking a homeloan FORCES you to be disciplined in allocating money to investing, the same money might get spent frivolously otherwise Lastly, it gives a sense of security, not only to yourself but also to your family, cannot put a Rs. Value on that Tomorrow, if you want to start a business, a house can be collateralised to raise cheap capital as well People who keep hating on house buying aren't seeing the full picture, and were probably lucky enough to have parents who were able to buy a house a generation back so can't appriciate the complete picture

If you are finding it tough to make money in trading, try looking for small wins. Do it consistently. Get your confidence back. It will do wonders to your trading. Majority wait for one trade to turn it around for them. That's where market gets you. Atleast psychologically.

If experts bet 1 percent of their capital on intraday basis, As beginners why should we bet more?

If you're sure that a thing is worth doing, then it is worth doing badly as well. Without doing it badly you won't know what needs improvement & without improvement you won't achieve success. So don't be afraid to fail, it's part of the process. On tough days remember this.

Replying to @RStrading99
I go with 70% of risk in morning (which means 0.7% for 1% risk) If I'm in loss of 0.7 or 0.8% with any reason i decrease position sizing in afternoon session

First comes effort in finding an edge. Then comes in applying right psychology to use the edge. Then discipline & consistency to keep psychology going. Finding an edge (tough in itself) is not enough. Market will test you to the limits to not allow the edge to play it's part.
