The Low-Pressure System Is Now Off the Delta / North Sri Lanka Coast, Dry days for Tamil Nadu from tomorrow
=============
Today Rainfall areas
-----------------
Mostly, the entire state is likely to experience a break in rainfall. Nagapattinam, Tiruvarur, Ramanathapuram, Kumari, Thoothukudi, parts of Nellai, Cuddalore and Sivaganga still have a chance of receiving rains, but rainfall activity is expected to reduce from the evening. North Sri Lanka would get very heavy rains today.
Chennai:
-----------
The low-pressure system was earlier expected to be near the Chennai–Puducherry coast (refer to the previous image). However, it has been dragged southwards towards the Delta / Sri Lanka coast. As a result, those areas are likely to receive rainfall, while Chennai has missed out on the expected rains completely.
Dry days till Nov 1
----------------
From tomorrow noon, the entire state is likely to turn dry, with rainfall activity dropping to nil, as Cyclone Arnab pulls away the easterly winds along with it.
🌧️ Heavy rain has been lashing Coimbatore for the past few hours!
The city has severe traffic congestion.
Hoping the situation improves and things get back to normal soon.
Stay safe, everyone! 🙏❤️
