We really need to start minding who we vote for. This video reminds me of a someone I know who used to be a counsellor. He said when they vote for a budget, he just present his story while speaking in English. Some would be asleep when he speaks. Where he needs to influence them he will speak in African language and they would say “yes” comrade while they don’t really understand the financials. And then the budget will be passed just like that.
This is a big problem we are faced with. People vote for popularity rather than capabilities and the knowledge the person has.
