Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo wept before his congregation this Sunday. He canceled his trip to Ghana to stay with his flock after his members were attacked again.
Dachomo himself blames armed Fulani Islamist militants, the same men he says killed nine of his relatives in Riyom in July and later threatened his life.
The latest confirmed attack came on Oct 16 in Shurum village, near Barkin Ladi in Plateau State. Four of his church members were killed, a father and his three sons who were guarding the village. He buried them on Oct 19, right after he got home from Israel.
This is the cost of following Jesus Christ in Nigeria today. Pastors bury their people and still stand in the pulpit and preach.

I have the memorandum decision granting in part and denying in part Candace Owens's motion to dismiss the Macrons' defamation case. The motion has been granted as to her in her personal capacity, but her business entities Candace Owens, LLC and Georgetom, LLC, remain as defendants.
The court has also concluded that French law governs the statute of limitations, but has called for more briefing on which statute of limitations applies - the standard 3-month limitation period for ordinary defamation claims, or an extended 1-year limitation period for claims based on defamation aimed at a person's sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
