One of my favourite UX reminders: just because something is simple to build doesn’t mean it’s simple to use.
We often expose system logic to users and call it “clarity”, when we’re actually transferring cognitive load to them.
Good design isn’t about exposing every option. It’s about understanding which decisions users should even have to make.

Exactly! And I think that’s why originality is becoming such a valuable skill. When everything starts looking and feeling the same, it’s harder and harder to think outside those defaults. Originality isn’t dead, but we definitely need to work harder for it.
Is originality in design slowly dying?
Everything is starting to look the same. Phones, cars, apps… even AI products are already converging into the sant slop.
Maybe we’ve become so obsessed with usability, efficiency and best practices that we’ve forgotten to experiment.
Convergence makes sense. But when does optimization become a lack of imagination?

This is next step interaction design! AI can make the turning pages effect in minutes but bringing the magazine one step further? That is amazing
