It is time to end the abuse of the word “green” by political activists who use it to describe such non-renewable things as wind turbines and solar farms.
The word green is simply a colour & has no scientific or technical meaning so it can be easily twisted to suit any agenda.1/?

Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome (CHS) is the rapidly growing disorder linked to heavy, long-term marijuana use. Paradoxically, while cannabis is widely known to ease nausea, chronic overstimulation of the body's endocannabinoid system can reverse this effect, turning the drug into a trigger for severe gastrointestinal distress.

Why would hot weather in July, August, and September cause riots in France in October? Did they sit around and think about it for a few months?
The rioting in France has everything to do with multiculturalism. Different cultures do not mix well and never have, and this is what happens when a nation goes soft on immigration.

The "Somali woman" mentioned is the infamously racist Safiya Khalid, who was at city hall in a shameless attempt to prevent the media from documenting Somali translator electioneering.
Khalid has a long history of documented harassment targeting conservatives in Lewiston.
Once again, the @AFLCIO shows its true colors...

While @SenBooker is busy running for president (2028) by attacking national economic figures on social media, families here in NJ are wondering when he will start focusing on them. New Jersey citizens continue to face a more challenging business climate & higher local burdens than much of the country. Instead of spending his time critiquing federal labor data, @CoryBooker should look at his own backyard & address the high state taxes, regulatory hurdles, & economic pressures that are impacting job growth & the cost of living right here in NJ. It's time for #CountGrandStandula to prioritize the economic well-being of his constituents over political point-scoring. #Spartacus 🤡

Dustin Hoffman, Gene Simmons, Jon Voight and Bob Odenkirk were among the Hollywood names who gathered at UCLA’s Royce Hall on Monday night for “Letters, Light, and Love,” a theatrical production celebrating the centuries-old connection between the Jewish people and Israel through letters written by historical figures and ordinary people.
The sold-out Oct. 19 event, organized by Jewish Federation Los Angeles, blended readings, music, and storytelling to trace that relationship across generations, from Maimonides and Julius Caesar to Golda Meir, Albert Einstein, and Leonard Bernstein.
The evening also featured personal accounts of people whose lives and families have been intertwined with Israel.
All ticket proceeds benefited the Sha’ar HaNegev Resilience Centre, which provides emotional and therapeutic support to individuals and families in southern Israel as they work to recover and rebuild after the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas attacks.
For Rabbi Noah Farkas, president and CEO of Jewish Federation Los Angeles, the event carried particular significance because of its setting.
Less than three years ago, UCLA was the site of a violent anti-Israel encampment where Jewish students reported feeling unsafe.
The campus became a flashpoint in the national debate over antisemitism and anti-Israel activism, with buildings and property damaged during the demonstrations.
“This place [Royce Hall] was inundated with protesters during the encampment,” Farkas told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency. “It was boarded up. Its windows were broken. There was graffiti everywhere.”
On Monday, the hall had been restored as a gathering place, with UCLA Chancellor Julio Frenk and his wife, Felicia Knaul, among those attending and participating in the staged readings.
“The fact that the chancellor himself is here tonight is, I think, really restorative,” Farkas said. “It’s almost like teshuvah for the campus.”
The evening’s celebrity readings offered moments of humor alongside more solemn reflections on Jewish history and the enduring ties to Israel.
Simmons, the KISS co-founder who was born in Israel, introduced himself with a joke that played on the name of the late television personality Richard Simmons.
“Hello, my name is Gene Simmons. I know some of you were expecting Richard Simmons,” he said, before adding, “And I’m a Jew. I was born in Israel, but more importantly, I’m a human being.”

🇮🇱 A moving moment in Hollywood.
Oscar-winning actor Dustin Hoffman, 89, joined Israeli singer Ester Rada for Israel’s national anthem, “Hatikvah,” at a special evening of solidarity with Israel at UCLA in Los Angeles.
The event brought together Hollywood stars and former Hamas hostage Eliya Cohen and his wife, Ziv Abud.
All ticket proceeds will support trauma recovery and resilience programs in southern Israel following the October 7 massacre.
