The OBR forecasts the benefits bill will hit £353 billion this year and £431 billion by 2031-32. Healey’s answer was to wait for two reviews next month, a White Paper next year and legislation in 2027. And 2030 to hit Defence Targets …….let’s hope we don’t get attacked.
