I think age of 20-29 is a phase of hustle, suffering & smiling, depression, over-thinking, and wondering whether you'll achieve and make it in life. Sometimes it extend to 30-35 which becomes a rediscovery phase, where you are just finding your feet and redefining your own path.
no but real question...how did y'all survive ages 27-29??? asking for me.

If Tinubu will ever write a book, I want it to be titled “How to be a Genius of a Rare Kind”
Sometimes in July 2025, President Tinubu was in Kigali for the African Union Summit, where he called for the establishment of an African credit rating agency. Today, the African Union says Africa will launch an independent credit rating agency by October 7, 2026. Hmmmm… 👀

Great interview! A few thoughts: 1. She should please chill out on the valuation talk and keep building. The most important thing at this stage is to sustain momentum and keep growth steady. Revenue can dry up at any time if things are not managed well. Data is the ultimate play. The realistic city mapping thing is a serious angle. 2. Four cofounders may sometimes make decision-making difficult. It is always better to have an odd number than an even one. 3. Agents providing feedback from live Twitter commentary is interesting. Is she using Claude Ultracode? I would love for people like @otoide_a, @Ace_KYD, @FourEyedWiz, and others with deep gaming experience to have a deep technical interview with her and her team to understand their stack and methodology. She can even teach others and learn from others in the process. That is how the tech community gets involved. 4. Security and compliance may become a major headache as potentially shady partnerships creep in. That crypto guy did it openly; others will be more subtle in their scamming within the game. This is the biggest risk at the moment, and that is where they would need a lot of help. 5. They need serious moderation and vetting of partnerships and adverts to prevent brand or reputational damage. I am already seeing prostitution adverts there, and there are complaints of sexual harassment.
Over 1 million players in 3 days! I asked @Shalom_HeyEliy how it happened for Lagos Life, what broke, and if she’s selling for $100,000.

Portugal didn’t want to lose Ronaldo. They wanted to keep the name, the attention and the commercial power while quietly reducing the football. That was the problem. Ronaldo reportedly generated $107M in audience value from just 29 World Cup posts. Portugal’s account made 565 posts and generated $79M So of course they wanted him around but he was never going to accept becoming a mascot in boots. His message was simple… play me if I’m still good enough. If I’m not, have the courage to say it. This wasn’t really about minutes. It was about Portugal wanting the benefits of Ronaldo without fully backing Ronaldo.

This is another stupid and bigoted take. I wish Yorùbá people see through this packaged insults from people like you. Supporting a Yorùbá man is bigotry while supporting your Eastern-affliliated persons is good governance. In a nutshell, the Yorùbás are not capable of good governance? Òfò lomi ẹ̀fọ́ ń ṣe. Ọ̀bọ kìí jèrè lẹ́yìn ọkọ̀! Kóo pasán tìrantìran.

Just saw a video of an American guy asking his fellow Americans what language would they like to learn and speak fluently apart from English and they all said in chorus “Yorùbá” without flinching. Don’t stop speaking that language, it’s too sweet to be ashamed of or abandoned.

This is false, the Yoruba part of the movie industry have always been huge. Piracy by a certain ethnicity caused problems for them and now that technology has made piracy almost redundant. They are eating the fruits of their labor.
Yoruba movie actors just suddenly took over Nollywood from the English movie actors that use to be the face of the industry, it’s how the English movies actors simply aligned for me, at the end of the day everyone wins.

Humanity first is an illusion. It's only good in the paper not in reality, even in the UK, they'll always remind you where you belong, Sis Kemi don't stress it, you're a Yoruba born living in the UK, you're not a British. Ethnicity will always come first!

When we started our Middle Belt movement, many people who now identify with the Middle Belt did not agree that they were from the Middle Belt. They would tell you they were not. But we never insulted them, we never castigated them, and we gave them room to change their minds. Many of them later changed their minds and we welcomed them and the reason why we took this approach is because we understand Nigeria. The moment you start insulting people in a disagreement, you have lost them. A lot of young people don’t understand this. You have to understand the demographic and country you are coming from. You think it is by insulting people up and down and bullying people that you will make them scared and change their minds? And side with you? This is Nigeria. Nobody is scared of anyone. Also, voting in Nigeria is not an open ballot situation where people have to yell out the person who they are voting for. No. You go to the private booth and place your vote. Nobody is going to know who you voted for. In that kind of situation, what you are supposed to be doing is ensuring that, in the quiet moments of people’s lives, they vote for your candidate. Not that you will constitute yourself into a nuisance, be bullying people online or fabricating lies that people are part of the APC without credible evidence. If you have evidence, that someone is doing something fundamentally wrong, present it intelligently And besides how are these tabloid style actions going to ensure your candidate emerges? All these tabloid gossip. And instead of spending time mobilizing, talking to people, setting up grassroots structures and trying to help your political party, you create many accounts, insult somebody on this one, go to another one and insult them, insult, insult, insult. You go to bed feeling good about yourself: “Oh yes, I’ve done a lot today. Meanwhile, you are even setting your group and party backwards with all these things. A lot of Nigerians, you know, you don’t convince them by insulting them. Just allow Nigerians, give them space to make their decisions. They will make it at the end of the day. Present your facts, present your arguments in a constructive manner and leave it. Even if another person used the strategy that you use now and you think it is working, or worked in the past, it is not going to work long term on the bulk of Nigerians long term. You still have to approach these things without that element of bullying and all of that. I just think back at events in the past weeks and shake my head In the end, this is why history is important. Nothing is new. I still remain of the opinion that only the intellectual class can save Nigeria.

We're not a nation. We're a country of many nations. And Tribalism is not a bad thing. All these unity beggars sef And if you're referring to bigotry. This you? 👇
Nigeria will become a better nation when Nigerians move beyond tribalism in leadership and begin choosing leaders based on competence, character, and ability.

You're absolutely correct. The primary election + cashless policy + fuel scarcity says it all. Tinubu who collapsed his own structure to form APC was asked to contest in a primary election against the current vice president and senate president. Man escaped a big humiliation.
My theory is that Aregbe believed Aso Rock had perfected Tinubu’s ultimate humiliation and political downfall. He had insider information suggesting BAT would be dealt with and stripped of any relevance in the S.West, paving the way for his eventual rise as the overall leader.
