Bittersweet Day: Today marks 1 year since I purchased my Tesla Model 3 new which included a free year of unlimited supercharging I really used the most of it by clocking in 75,000 miles on the odometer which is roughly just over what most people drive in 6 years haha) Thank you all for tuning in along the way! I’ll have a full breakdown post coming in the following days.

Back to the topic of overheating autopilot computers. There seems to be two factors. Current heat and dirty radiators. We cleaned out a customer's radiator yesterday(21 Model 3 with 118k miles) and the temps dropped by ~25°C. @Tesla's video of a clogged radiator.

Catching skin cancer early is a home robotics problem. Melanoma is highly treatable when detected early, yet today’s screening process depends heavily on patients noticing tiny changes across their entire skin surface. This requires patients to solve a near-impossible visual-memory and registration problem. I built OpenDerm, an open-source 4-DOF robot that captures high-resolution images of the skin and uses them to reconstruct and track the skin surface in 3D over time. The best way to make skin screening truly routine is to bring it into the home. OpenDerm shows that inexpensive robotic skin imaging is possible, but the path to scale is not a dedicated screening robot in every household—it is to make skin screening one of the many useful things a general-purpose home robot can do. Read more about why I built OpenDerm and how it works here: Blog: marionlepert.github.io/blog/… Project: openderm.github.io/

If you have not voted for Supercharger locations please consider Whitehorse Yukon. Whitehorse is the capital of the Yukon Territory and this location would be extremely helpful to EVs travelling to and from Alaska.

Interviewed my almost 95 year old dad about his experience with his one month old Tesla Y. Here’s what he said both the good and the bad. Please show anyone on the fence about getting a Tesla Full a self Driving car or truck. It may change their mind.

@DavidMoss, @DevinOlsenn, and @Scotsrule08 are proud to announce that we have successfully completed the world’s first Canada coast to coast fully autonomous drive! We left Horseshoe Bay Terminal in Vancouver. BC 4 days & 21 hours ago, and now have ended in Halifax, NS at the Tesla Showroom (3,760miles/6,051km) This was accomplished with Tesla FSD v14.3.3 with absolutely 0 disengagements of any kind even for all parking including at Tesla Superchargers. – at Halifax, Nova Scotia

Canadian Coast to Coast with Tesla FSD is done! Myself, @DavidMoss and @scotsrule08 drove over 6,051km (3,760 miles) across Canada, through the Rockies, prairies, Canadian Shield, etc - all while using FSD. Canada threw just about everything it had at us along the way… construction, animals on the road, poor weather, bad drivers, etc - and we still managed to pull it off. This is a major milestone in autonomy and will hopefully help prove to people where we actually are today with regard to self-driving cars. What a fun 5 days it’s been - I can’t believe how many people have shown up to support us along the way! The Tesla community is incredible.
