Give audiences something different that they’re invested in and they will show up. It can’t be the umpteenth variation of the same thing that comes out every two months.

I LITERALLY stopped working on my memo so I could read this indictment. I am on page 24 and JESUS LUPITA NYONG'O CHRIST. HOW this man still has the capacity to shock me after everything that's happened, i'll never know. but I am sitting here *STUNNED*.

I…I think we all…just witnessed…one of the greatest episodes of television ever. Phenomenal acting from everyone across the board. The chaos, sadness, confusion & sense of urgency was so authentic, raw & devastating. Wow. Stunned. Bravo #SuccessionHBO #Emmys #FYC

I don’t think it’s too soon to say that tonight’s episode of SUCCESSION was literally one of the greatest in the history of television

this episode of SUCCESSION is going to go down in history as one of the best episodes in modern TV history, the kind that defines what the series has always been about while capturing the raw humanity of the deeply flawed, broken people that are the Roy Family. I’m still reeling.

Hollywood is in disarray amid mass firings and fears of the future. The big take-aways in the trades seem to be that people need to be making smaller more thoughtfully crafted movies for audiences. Welcome to the party, pal.
